READY. SET. GO! – Ms. Martha now has stickers that she will give to your dancer when they show her their completed task.   They can place the sticker on the Big/Little Sister Bingo tracker board that is now displayed on the Vibe bulletin board at the Studio.  We’ll celebrate all of our Big/Little sister’s Bingo success with a pizza party at the end of the season AND the first 4 Big/Little pairs to complete all 12 tasks will each take home a $25 Lululemon giftcard!!!

SAVE THE DATES: 

Vibe Season 2023-2024 Audition Dates are set for Wednesday and Thursday, June 21 and 22 at the Studio.  Schedule details will be announced closer to the date.     

Raise the Barre has been set for the week of July 24 through July 28.

***Reminder (and please remind your dancers):   Photos may be posted on social media, but DO NOT post videos of any dances until AFTER this competition season is over.

This year, each Vibe family will receive one USB drive of Showcase 2023 “Glow Your Own Way” compliments of Cheryl and the Vibe!

USB drives are available for group moms to pick up at the studio this week to be distributed to each team.

Just a few reminders as we head into our 2nd competition of the season…

• A WAIVER MUST BE FILLED OUT FOR EACH DANCER & EACH PARENT and/or FAMILY MEMBER ACCOMPANYING A DANCER IN THE VENUE.   All waivers should be complete. If you have not signed the waiver you received an email on Tuesday 3/21. Dancers that have not completed and electronically signed the waiver will not be permitted to compete this weekend.
• NEW! The competition schedule has been updated with door opening times and entry #s. If you like keeping the schedule in your lanyard, we have shrunk the schedule to fit the lanyard. • Programs will not be available for purchase at the venue this weekend but you can access a printable copy of the LOC Atlanta Competition program by clicking here.
• Parents, please wear your FootNotes spiritwear and/or Vibe colors (red & black) to show our team spirit throughout the weekend.   

We encourage you to support ALL of the dancers and groups this weekend by watching and cheering for them LOUDLY in the audience!

Details are now available for Competition #2!  All of the schedule and venue information you need for the League Of Champions Dance Competition next weekend!   Please review all of the details in the document with your dancer.  Please click here to be directed to the password protected League Of Champions 2023 webpage.

Everyone must wait until they receive the email before signing up. Dancers need to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time to review judges critiques BEFORE coming in to rehears with Cheryl. Be stretched and warmed up prior to rehearsal start time.

Cheryl has created the Solo, Duo, Trio Signup Genius for this season. Click here to access the Signup Genius.

Make sure that you note on the Signup Genius whether you are signing up for your dancer’s solo, duo, or trio rehearsal.   Please make sure that only 1 mom or dancer signs up for a given slot for a duo or trio.

You may only sign up for one slot each time new dates are posted. After one week, you may sign up for an additional spot, but you must have pre-approval from Cheryl.  

Dancers, please remember the following:

• Please bring your music to the private lesson.
• Please bring payment ($35 for a 30 minute session or $17.50 for a 15 minute session with Cheryl ) at the start of each rehearsal.  There is no option to have this charge added to your FootNotes account.  All dancers must pay the instructor directly by either check, Venmo, or cash.
• If your dancer is unable to attend your booked rehearsal session, you must notify FootNotes at footnotesdance@comcast.net, at least 24 hours ahead of your scheduled time.   If you ‘miss’/forget a rehearsal that you have signed up for, you are still responsible for the payment to the instructor.
• As always, dancers are always free to book an empty room to practice on their own.
