IMPORTANT DATES – Save all these dates on your calendar now!

Due to addition and timing of Fulton County school breaks (winter break, spring break + Easter weekend) this year, there are fewer available weekends to accommodate all required spring competitions.  

2026 – 2027 Dates for Dance Competitions & Workshops 

• 1 Required Convention
  • NRG Dance Convention – January 8-10 (Venue: Loews Hotel Atlanta)

• 5 Regional Competition Dates – typically start on Friday afternoon through Sunday (final schedule typically not released until a week prior to event date)
  1. ID Dance Competition – March 5 – 7 in Greenville, SC (Venue: Greenville Convention Center)
  2. Applause Talent Competition– March 12 – 14 in Carrollton (Venue: Carrollton High School Mabry Arts Center)
  3. Platinum Dance Competition – April 16 – 18 in Duluth (Venue: Gas South Convention Center)
  4. Revolution Dance Competition – April 23 – 25 in Atlanta (Venue: Georgia World Congress Center)
  5. BravO! Dance Competition – April 30 – May 2 in Athens, GA (Venue: The Classic Center)

• Oher Important Dates –
  • Big/Little Sibling Reveal – September – details coming soon!
  • Group Photos – TBD (likely late Sep/early Oct)
  • Parents Night Out – TBD (likely mid Nov)
  • Hair and Makeup Session – sometime in early/mid-January
  • *Showcase – Weekend of February 27-28 (Save the Date) will be confirmed shortly.  
    • • *Please note that Fulton County Winter Break is Feb 15-19 and while there will be no class/rehearsal during the week, the weekend of February 20–21 will be a mandatory Showcase rehearsal weekend for all groups.

Within the next few weeks, we will be sending out suggested accommodations for out of town regional competitions. PLEASE make your reservations AS SOON AS YOU GET THE INFORMATION ABOUT IT!  It is easier to cancel a room than to reserve a room as competition dates grow closer…always check cancellation policies with the hotel.
