With competition season just around the corner, we wanted to remind everyone to check/confirm your hotel reservations for Birmingham.  The group/team rates that had been secured by our Hotel Logistics Team expire today and tomorrow.   

One Update on Hotel Rates:  We heard from the Residence Inn Birmingham Downtown at UAB (weekend of March 12-14), that there are currently no bookings using our group reservation code. They let us know that they have reduced the rate for the 1 King Sofa Bed for our block of rooms to $99/night.

Cheryl has updated the Solo, Duo, Trio Signup Genius with some February and March dates.  Click here to access the Signup Genius.

Make sure that you note on the Signup Genius whether you are signing up for your dancer’s solo, duo, or trio rehearsal.   Please make sure that only 1 mom or dancer signs up for a given slot for a duo or trio.   Please only sign up for 1 slot for the first week the SUG is published.  After a week, you may sign up for a second slot if you wish.

Dancers, please remember the following:

• Please bring your music to the private lesson.
• Please bring payment ($35 for a 30 minute session with Cheryl or Madison) at the start of each rehearsal.  There is no option to have this charge added to your FootNotes account.  All dancers must pay the instructor directly by either check, Venmo, or cash.
• If your dancer is unable to attend your booked rehearsal session, you must notify FootNotes at footnotesdance@comcast.net, at least 24 hours ahead of your scheduled time.   If you ‘miss’/forget a rehearsal that you have signed up for, you are still responsible for the payment to the instructor.
• As always, dancers are always free to book an empty room to practice on their own.

Please note that due to complying with Covid protocols per venue requirements, only one person was granted access to the theater to take photos during Showcase Dress Rehearsal this year.  We did the best we could but not all routines were captured.  We will have multiple opportunities to get more pictures of the dancers on stage throughout the season. 

The Master Calendar has been updated with revised arrival times for all dancers this weekend (original times were previously listed and have since been updated).

Dancers should be entering through the lobby door at your assigned time, not parking at your assigned time. Everyone MUST have mask on to enter the building and keep mask on at ALL times unless performing on stage per venue guidelines.

This Friday, February 12 is the last day to purchase Showcase Dancer Gifts.        The Dancer Gift contains a plush animal, gummi bear candy, and a blow pop, all wrapped in festive packaging ($15/each), ready to be gifted to your dancer.  Remember to fill in the “Name of the Dancer to Receive the Gift” field when purchasing it on the Square website.

Dancer Shout Outs will continue to be available for online purchase through Sunday. Shout Outs contain a swirl lollipop, along with your personal note to the dancer ($2/each).  You must enter the Dancer Full Name and personal note (up to 150 characters) before adding the item to the cart.

Showcase is finally upon us!  Since this will be the first time that ALL of the Vibe dancers will be dancing together on stage, we would like for the dancers to fill their BIG or LITTLE SISTER’s ❤️ with love, support and encouragement From The Heart for the big weekend!

We are providing each dancer with a heart cutout to take home and write a sweet note of encouragement to their Big/Little Sister. Attach a little token of “something sweet” and share all the love with your Big/Little sister this coming Saturday, February 13. **Dancers should pick up their heart cutout from the front desk at the studio by this Thursday, February 11.
