Note for Senior level dancers:  Cheryl will work with Tremaine to determine how the  audition will work on Saturday since it’s scheduled at the lunch break.  She will discuss with you tomorrow.

Tremaine has posted the Workshop Schedule for this weekend.    We have updated our Tremaine document with specifics.   Please click here to be directed to the web page that contains all of the Vibe details about Tremaine!  Note there is a time change for our Senior dancers on Sunday.  And remember for ALL, it’s daylight savings time on Saturday night!  All changes to the PDF document are noted with a GREEN highlight.

NOTE:  The arrival and departure times in the Tremaine document are approximate based on a sample schedule they have provided us.  We will update the PDF document on the Tremaine web page once we receive the final schedule from Tremaine (generally the week before the event).  We will send another post when the information is updated.

To do’s for Tremaine:

1. If you are available to chaperone the event (we need 6 chaperones each day – 2 for each age grouping), please signup using the Signup Genius in the Tremaine document linked on the web page above.
2. Your Group Mom will be coordinating the transportation plan for your group to and from the Hotel (groups generally car pool).  We find that having the group mom coordinate this for each team works out best for the team.  She will be in touch soon with planning.

2 to do’s for today for Revel:

1.  ALL dancers must submit an online waiver to participate. The waiver link can be found in the document.  Waivers must be filled out (all online) by this Friday, January 11.

We wanted to recap some of the particulars that are important/required to ensure that you have completed them, as well as share the “All About Competition” document to get you prepared for the competition season.  Below is your “to do list” of reminders/to do’s to give you a checklist to make sure you have completed these tasks:

1. First, we have loaded the “All About Competition” reference document to the Members Information section of the web site.   We encourage you to read the document with your dancer, even if you have been in Vibe in previous years.  It contains new, important information about competitions, as well as  expectations of dancers to assist in making this a fun competition season for both you and your dancer!  We promise that reading this together with your daughter will help you and your dancer become better prepared for the coming months.  Click here to be directed to the “All About Competition” document.
2. SHOES:  Make sure that you have purchased the appropriate shoes that are listed in the Shoe Buying Guide.
3. NEW INFO — TIGHTS:   The tights information is now loaded onto the following website link: Click here to access the Tights Buying Guide. Please make sure that you have the appropriate tights for your dancer.  Please have tights in hand by Wednesday, January 23.
4. OTHER MAKE-UP and DANCER ACCESSORIES:  Please make sure that you have inventoried your make-up bag and dancer accessories based on the “Items Needed for Competition” list that was posted earlier in December.  Click here   to be directed to the document.  The Yofi make-up (if you purchased it) will be given out at Hair and Make-up Day.
5. HOTEL RESERVATIONS:  Make sure that you have hotel reservations per the Hotel Info link.  We also recommend that you double-check your reservations with the hotel to ensure that you have a reservation (make sure you keep your confirmation #’s handy because we have seen some of these smaller hotels lose individual reservations in the past years).
6. Lastly, please check the Master Calendar often.   Keeping your schedule in sync with the Master Calendar is SO important to your dancer and the entire team.   Please continue to check the Master Calendar against your personal calendar to ensure that all dates are appropriately aligned (correct date and time is noted on your calendar).

I know we have lots going on with Showcase this weekend, but we wanted to get this communication out ahead of the weekend.  You will note in the Radix information that there is a Radix waiver document (click here) that must be filled out and signed for each dancer.  The deadline for getting the waiver turned in to the studio is Wednesday, February 21 end of day. There will be a collection point for completed waivers at Showcase this weekend.   Feel free to print out the waiver, complete it, and bring it to Showcase to get that “to do” off your list.
