This season, in lieu of exchanging gifts between Big and Little sisters during competition weekends we want to shift the focus towards “Turning Moments into Memories!”  What better way to share support, love and encouragement for your big/little sister than over ICE CREAM?!   

Big Sisters – during the months of March & April,  partner with your little sister (and mom) to coordinate a date and time that works for both of you to meet up.  Click here to access the Vibe Member Directory if needed to reach out to your little sister (or her mom). Once your date is set, pick up a gift card from the front desk at the studio to treat you and your little sister to ice cream on the Vibe!  (*Ice cream gift cards will be available for pickup at the studio beginning next Monday, 3/14).

****Please schedule your ice cream date prior to Saturday, April 30th as there will be more Big/Little Sister events and activities coming your way this season! ****

In addition, we understand that time was limited during Showcase weekend and many Big/Little sister pairs were unable to connect and create a Tik Tok together so the Big/Little Sister Tik Tok Challenge has been extended through this weekend at NexStar! Pick any song or dance you like, record together, save and send your video to footnotesdanceblog@gmail.com by next Tuesday 3/15 to post and share on our Vibe website for everyone to view. The Top 5 Big/Little pairs will win a prize!

Live Stream appears to be available through the DanceBug app, as well as through this link on the NexStar website in case your family and friends want to watch on a PC.

The 2022 Vibe Performance Company Dance Showcase Videos are now available for purchase through EOD TODAY, March 1, 2022. We are offering the videos on USB Drive again this year. The videos are great for the dancer who likes to study her dances (and others) over and over again…Perfect for the family member who can’t make that trip to see the Dance Showcase…And, of course, a wonderful keepsake of the performance!

The videos will be available in a few weeks, via PICKUP at the Studio.    We will email you when they are available.

Cheryl has updated the Solo, Duo, Trio Signup Genius with new dates in March. Click here to access the Signup Genius.

Make sure that you note on the Signup Genius whether you are signing up for your dancer’s solo, duo, or trio rehearsal.   Please make sure that only 1 mom or dancer signs up for a given slot for a duo or trio.

NOTE: It is possible for these spots to be shared with 2 dancers. At this point, not everyone needs a whole 30 minute private session. If there are more dancers that want a private than we have spots available, Cheryl and Madison may choose to have a dancer share their private with another dancer. This will be at Cheryl/Madison’s discretion.  

You may only sign up for one slot each time new dates are posted. After a week, you may check again and sign up for one more open slot.  

Dancers, please remember the following:

• Please bring your music to the private lesson.
• Please bring payment ($35 for a 30 minute session with Cheryl or Madison) at the start of each rehearsal.  There is no option to have this charge added to your FootNotes account.  All dancers must pay the instructor directly by either check, Venmo, or cash.
• If your dancer is unable to attend your booked rehearsal session, you must notify FootNotes at footnotesdance@comcast.net, at least 24 hours ahead of your scheduled time.   If you ‘miss’/forget a rehearsal that you have signed up for, you are still responsible for the payment to the instructor.
• As always, dancers are always free to book an empty room to practice on their own.

All dress rehearsal photographers should upload group photos onto this site for all members to have access to photos.  We will have multiple opportunities to get more pictures of the dancers on stage throughout the season and you can upload at any point and time! 

The FootNotes Spiritwear has arrived!! Fran Conlan is our FN Spiritwear coordination person…she will have Spiritwear (if you ordered items) available for pick-up on Saturday, February 19 when you arrive at the venue (Duluth High School lobby). Please find her in the lobby to pick-up your items. Thanks Fran, for coordinating our spiritwear!
