All groups’ dances are in both the 2:00 pm and the 7:00 pm shows. Solos, duos, trios, and small groups have been divided between the two shows. Our Senior solos and their small group dances are included in both shows.
Showcase Ticket Sales Information
Let’s get ready to sell tickets to our dancers’ 2 amazing shows! Here are the details:
- Showcase Tickets will go on sale to Vibe members only this Tuesday, January 17 at 10am. This is priority ticket sales for our Vibe members. Please be on the lookout for an email (not a web post) with Ticket Sales information this Tuesday morning.
- On Wednesday, January 18, Showcase details will be posted to our website as a web page and web post for general public ticket purchases. This is the web page you will want to share with your friends and family for ticket purchases!
Your Vibe Reminder “Laundry List”
We wanted to recap some of the particulars that are important/required to ensure that you have completed them, as well as share the “All About Competition” document to get you prepared for the competition season. Below is your “laundry list” of reminders/to do’s to give you a checklist to make sure you have completed these tasks prior to next week’s start of dance classes:
- OTHER MAKE-UP and DANCER ACCESSORIES: Please make sure that you have inventoried your make-up bag and dancer accessories based on the “Items Needed for Competition” list that was posted earlier in December. Click here to be directed to the document.
- SHOES: Make sure that you have purchased the appropriate shoes that are listed in the Shoe Buying Guide web page.
- NEW INFO — TIGHTS: The tights information is now loaded onto the following website link: Click here for the Tights Buying Guide web page. Please make sure that you have the appropriate tights for your dancer. And always, please have extra pairs of tights on hand of each type needed, just in case your dancer gets a tear or snag.
- Next, we have loaded the “All About Competition” reference document to the Members Only section of the web site. We encourage you to read the document with your dancer. It contains new, important information about competitions, how we should conduct ourselves, as well as general information to assist in making this a fun competition season for both you and your dancer! We promise that reading this together with your daughter…even if you have been in Vibe for years….will help you and your dancer become better prepared for the coming months. - Lastly, please check the Master Calendar often. Keeping your schedule in sync with the Master Calendar is SO important to your dancer and the entire team. Please continue to check the Master Calendar against your personal calendar to ensure that all dates are appropriately aligned (correct date and time is noted on your calendar).
- One rehearsal time change to note: Saturday, MARCH 18, 2017 – OVATION & PREMIER – Musical Theatre & Hip Hop Rehearsal has been changed to 4pm – 6pm (from 10am – 12noon).

Keep Calm and Put your Competition Make-up On!
The “Items Needed for Competition” list has been posted to the Members Only section of the website. For returning members, please review the document/list and double-check your make-up and hair supplies. For new members, we know this list may look ‘large’, so feel free to reach out to your group mom should you have questions regarding any items on the list.

Additionally, it’s time to order your dancer’s competition make-up and earrings. Please click here to fill out the Competition Make-up & Earring Order Form. We MUST receive a response from ALL dancers by Monday, December 19, indicating whether or not competition make-up and/or earrings are to be ordered. Note on the standard competition earrings: This year we are recommending your dancer have 1 pair of competition earrings…Cheryl will likely change the earring next year, so do not buy extra. If your dancer loses a pair during the session, the studio will have them available for purchase.
Baby needs a new pair of shoes!
We have more competition shoe updates to share with you – Bravo, Elite, Ovation, and Premier shoe lists have been updated. Click here for the updated shoe lists. You will note the updates to the shoe list are highlighted in green. If you have any questions about the shoe styles, etc., please don’t hesitate to discuss with your group mom. Please have all shoes purchased and in hand by Monday, January 9.
