We have some January Master Calendar updates to share with you.  Please review the following updates to the Master Calendar.   

Competition Hair and Makeup “boot camp” has been set!  This is for Dancer and Mom and is a mandatory event for both.  For our new members, this is where you/your dancer will learn our official competition hairstyle for this competition season.    You will also be shown how competition makeup is to be applied so that our dancers have a ‘uniform’ look.

• The date is set for Saturday, January 14 with 2 sessions, one at 10am and another at 1pm.
  • APPLAUSE, BRAVO and OVATION will attend the 10am session.  
  • ELITE and PREMIER will attend the 1pm session.  
  • Note also that the Competition Makeup and Earring Order Form will be sent out soon.

Also, for planning purposes, some group rehearsals will likely be scheduled for the weekends of January 13-15 and January 20-22.   Details and times will be sent out as soon as they are finalized.  As always, if you have any new schedule conflicts that arise, please email details to mailto://footnotesdanceblog@gmail.com

Please remember that Nuvo Dance Workshop is the weekend of January 27. This is a mandatory workshop.

Additionally, Cheryl expects we will have a dress rehearsal in the studio the first weekend in February (weekend of February 3)…details will follow as soon as they are known.

We have a few Master Calendar CHANGES to share with you.  Please review the following updates to the Master Calendar.    The updates have been recapped below:

• Sunday, December 4 Rehearsal TIME CHANGES
  • OVATION: Small Group Rehearsal is now 1:00pm-2:00pm (moved from 2pm).
  • ELITE: Cherrise Small Group Rehearsal is now 3:30pm-4:15pm (moved from 11:00am).
  • ELITE: Jon Carr Small Group Rehearsal is now 4:15pm-5:00pm (moved from 11:45am).
  • Brian’s Lyrical Rehearsal is now 5:00pm-6:30pm (moved from 12:30pm).

OVATION & PREMIER Musical Theater & Hip Hop Rehearsal has been moved FROM Friday, December 16 at 6-8pm TO Monday, December 12, 5-7pm.

The Order Form for the black ivivva or lululemon leggings is provided below.  This is an optional spiritwear purchase.  We would like everyone’s order information by this Saturday, November 12, end of day, so that we can get the orders over to the ivivva/lululemon rep.  Even if you are not interested in purchasing leggings at this time, please fill out the form indicating you are not interested, so that we have everyone accounted for.    If your dancer missed one of the try-on times from last week, please email us at mailto://footnotesdanceblog@gmail.com.    We will have the samples available for a couple more days.

The guide for purchasing the correct shoe styles for your Vibe dancer is now available.  Please click here to access the Shoe Buying Guide web page, listed by dance group.  Note that this is a password protected page that is located under the Members Only section of the website. Please make sure that you select the correct dance group for your dancer.  These shoes should be in hand no later than November 30, 2016.  The Tights Buying Guide will be sent out as soon as it is available.

We have 1 Master Calendar Update to share with you this week.   The Vibe Holiday Party has been scheduled for Sunday, December 18, from 1-3pm at the Studio.     More details will be forthcoming from our social committee as we get closer to the event.   Please review this update on the Master Calendar.

Rooms typically fill up VERY quickly for all competitions…so make your reservations ASAP.  It is best to make reservations for all nights, as we will not have the competition schedule until 7-10 days prior to the event.  It is much easier to cancel a night at a hotel, than to add one on at the last minute!
