Production Lock-In Timing & Reminders

Saturday’s Production Lock-in will be here before you know it, and this season’s Production piece and theme will be revealed to our dancers and parents!

As mentioned in a prior post, the lock-in is an overnight event where the entire company (all 76 dancers) will work together towards the goal of learning all of the choreography for this year’s Production piece.

REMINDERS:  Please send your dancer to the studio well-rested and ready to work hard and have some fun!  Please also remind her to always be respectful of our choreographers and to each other, to listen well (no talking while in the studio learning their part of the dance), and to take direction when given.  We need every dancer’s cooperation in order for all of the choreography to be completed at the lock-in.

Arrival Time at Studio:  Saturday, October 5 at 2:45pm…but please, no earlier.   Choreography will begin at 3:00pm sharp.

Pick-Up Time:  Dancers are to be picked up on Sunday, October 6 between 8:00am – 8:30am.

Food: For those bringing food (Fruit, Pasta, and Salad items) from the Signup Genius where we indicated “Time TBD”, we will be in touch with you individually on timing of when we would like the food to arrive.   All other items from the Signup Genius can be brought in at Drop-off.

Water:    All dancers should bring their own refillable water bottle.  We will have a water station for them to refill water bottles.

Other Items For Your Dancer To Bring: jazz shoes, pillow, sleeping bag, PJ’s, Toothbrush/toothpaste, and any other overnight “necessities” to help you relax and get to sleep (a cuddle toy, ear plugs or ear buds, ipad, etc.) If you have an air mattress, your dancer may bring that as well.

Please also make sure that EVERYTHING brought to the lock-in is labeled with your dancer’s name!

IMPORTANT:   If your dancer has a food allergy or anything else that the Studio needs to be aware of for the overnight, please email us at footnotesdanceblog@gmail.com.
