Master Calendar Updates – PLEASE READ & UPDATE YOUR CALENDAR

The Master Calendar has been updated with the following January (and one day in February) rehearsals…some of the days/times have changed, so make sure you update your calendar per the below. This is everything that is currently scheduled on these dates (but other rehearsals may be added based on how “ready” the piece is).  This is a long web post, so please read through to the end. 

Saturday, January 11

  • BRAVO (10:30am – 12noon) (this is the same)
  • STARLET (12noon – 12:30pm) (this is the same)
  • APPLAUSE, BRAVO, STARLET  Hair & Make-up Session (1pm – 3pm) – Mandatory for mom and dancer (**Details of what to bring noted at bottom of web post)
  • APPLAUSE (3pm – 4:30pm) (this is moved)

Sunday, January 12

  • PREMIER & ELITE Musical Theater – Thataway! (10am -11:15am)
  • ELITE, OVATION & PREMIER Hair & Make-up Session  (11:30am – 1pm) – Mandatory for mom and dancer (**Details of what to bring noted at bottom of web post)
  • ELITE – Fever (1pm – 2:15pm)

Saturday, January 18

  • Avery N. and Avery P. with Jon (10am – 11am)
  • PREMIER w/ Cheryl (10am – 11am)
  • ELITE & PREMIER with Jon (11am -12:30pm)
  • Photo Button Pictures (Optional – details to follow in a separate web post) – 11:30am – 12:30pm
  • ALL GROUPS – PRODUCTION with Jon (12:30pm – 2pm)
  • PREMIER – UNRAVEL with Jon (2pm – 3:30pm)
  • ELITE – SKIN & BONES with Cheryl (2pm – 3pm)
  • ELITE – LANDSLIDE with Jon (3:30pm – 4:30pm)
  • ELITE and PREMIER should pack quick energy snacks for moments of downtime and in between rehearsal transitions.

Sunday, January 19

  •  PREMIER & OVATION Hip Hop with Ricky (11:30am – 1:30pm)
  •  ELITE LARGE GROUP Hip Hop with Ricky (1:30pm – 3:30pm)
  •  BRAVO, STARLET, APPLAUSE & OVATION – Mandatory Master Class with Ricky (3:30pm – 5:00pm)
    • Note:    Ricky’s Master Class is MANDATORY for all Company Members.   Cost is $25 per dancer and will be charged to your FootNotes account. Wear sneakers.
  •  ELITE – NEED A BREAK Hip Hop with Ricky (5pm – 6:45pm)
  •  PREMIER & ELITE – Mandatory Master Class with Ricky (7pm – 8:30pm)
    • Note:    Ricky’s Master Class is MANDATORY for all Company Members.   Cost is $25 per dancer and will be charged to your FootNotes account.  Wear sneakers.

Saturday, February 1

  • OVATION Rehearsal with Cheryl: 12noon – 1:00pm
  • OVATION & PREMIER Hip Hop: 1:00pm – 2:00pm
  • ALL GROUPS – Full Production Rehearsal: 2:00pm – 4:00pm

IMPORTANT NOTE FROM CHERYL: Please keep all weekends open…there will be other weekend rehearsals added to the schedule. Just because it is not scheduled right now, does NOT mean a rehearsal won’t be added to the schedule. Cheryl needs to see how the dances are looking to determine if other rehearsals will be added.  

**THIS WEEKEND’S HAIR & MAKE-UP SESSION DETAILS

  • Please bring ALL the items listed in the “Items Needed for Competition” List.  Click here to access the Member Information web page that contains this document. Please inventory your dancer’s supplies to ensure you have all items on hand. The YOFI make-up that was ordered in December will be distributed on Saturday and Sunday.
  • It will be really helpful to have a blanket to spread out your supplies and a stool (or chair) or two for you and your dancer.
  • Cheryl would like for your dancer’s hair to be straightened with a flat iron prior to the Hair & Make-up Sessions on Saturday and Sunday. This is not required if you do not have time prior to these sessions.  But it is suggested since the competition hairstyle will require starting with straightened hair.  If you have never straightened your dancer’s hair, it is a good time to see how long it takes.   NOTE: There are not enough power outlets in the dance room to accommodate everyone’s flat irons at the Hair & Make-up Sessions, so coming with your dancer’s hair straightened is recommended.
  • Please be all set-up with your supplies/blanket/stool and ready to start at the start time listed above for your group.
